Timless bridal hair
My beautiful Marketing Intern,
Ariel Lor, transformation...
About her hair:
super fragile, over processed hair from home lightening, dry, 1 inch new growth, uneven brassy tones throughout
GOAL:
Soft neutral beige blonde
Balayage highlights
(Working progress in nursing her hair back to health)
3step process, 4hours later
New her!!
You know your stylist have your ombré down perfect if it even looks like perfection straight!
Easy fix, but took 4 hours from start to finish!
my client went to have her hair Balayage shooting for more of a high contrast look, but instead, it ended up looking like she has bad new growth. (top photos)
Her hair was fragile when she came in to see me. We compromised for the sake of her hair's integrity. She loved the color's tones and transition.

She came in with a black hair and a long history of lightening and going black every 6months. I was actually nervous her hair would fall off. BUT, that would never happen under my watch! Total of 8 hours and 2 separate sessions later. My client hair is EXACTLY what we were shooting for.
It's not uncommon clients come in with green hair from swimming, doing their own color, manic panic, etc.
This client called in a panic needing her hair fixed asap because she had a huge event. Her original color was too yellow is what she said. she used a blue toner and let it sit for 30 minutes and the left photo is what her results were. All colorist knows what went wrong here right? (:
she had really bad bleeders spots all over her head also, 4 hours later Her hair is ready to rock her events!
After many months of traditional foiling and my client traveling to come see me every 2 months, I had finally convinced my client to do a balayage for softer grow out, more dimensions, and more color variations!
AAAAAAAAAAAND thanks to Olaplex, I am able to push the envelope with Asian hair!! She is a perfect blonde!
Level 1 natural blue black to variations of level 7-9 honey and sandy beige tones.
FYI: we started this blonde journey back in December 2013 and she is finally exactly where we want her today September 2014!
It's not the easiest to do an Ombre affect on short hair, but I figured it out with out making the hair look too foiled.

This looked like an easy project to tackle. RIGHT? Wrong! Client has been coloring her hair red at home for 2 years. Target goal is light honey ombré with caramel dimension shadowing. I knew it would be a challenge depending on the red removal... But GEEEEEZ WHEN THE HAIR WAS BECOMING PINK IN THE BLEACHING PROCESS, I knew I was dealing with a whole different kind of color- I am dealing with a stain!! That was when she told me the last color she did was actually a magenta that had faded!!! I had very little hope at this point... However, 8.5 hours later, no pink, light honey high contrast ombré with caramel dimension shadowing!

When I finished her hair and spun her around to look in the mirror, she said, "OMG! You #GuyTang my hair!"
Best compliment ever!
She came in with level 2 base with a hard line of demarcation muddy level 6 mid shaft to ends. Goal: balayage soft caramel and honey tones with a warm base.
